Lebanese popstar diva Elissa released a new video that became an absolute Internet sensation.
The new clip tells a story of Dany Bustros, a famous Lebanese belly dancer and singer from a high up family that took her own life in 1998 after she lost her only son.
Ms. Bustros had reportedly shot herself in the head.
She used to have financial problems and was said to be emotionally unstable according to Nasser Malik Darrar, a Saudi national who lived with her at the time of the event.
Her death left the country speechless and two decades later Elissa recalls Bustros’ story yet again.
The song named ‘3aks Illi Shayfha’ or ‘The opposite of what you see’ cast light on mental health problems and depression. The clip illustrates the song’s lyrics where happiness goes hand in hand with frustration that is so difficult to spot sometimes.
The new hit gained already several million of views.
